*Due to 2020 pool regulations, there are no competitions currently on our schedule. We continue to provide high quality dryland exercise during these unusual circumstances. As pools allow, there will be limited in-water programs provided.

Whether your swimmer is wet behind the ears or has grown gills from time in the water, the Piranhas coaching staff has the skills, care and dedication to encourage kids of all abilities to compete. While never losing sight of the importance of personal development, team spirit and the simple joy of swimming.

Head Coach Sarah Corcoran

Sarah coaches to inspire the love of swimming. Technique, skill development and a fun, positive learning environment are her core. Biomechanics are the foundation of her coaching and her own swimming since she swam at ACES swim club in Englewood in the 90s. This fascination motivates her in-depth study of anatomy, movement, yoga and, currently, Structural Integration at the Rolf Institute in Boulder. Her love of competition catapulted her to become the first Div 1 NCAA championship qualifier (50, 100, 200 free) at the University of Denver in 2002. She continued coaching and learning at DU Hilltoppers until 2014. Today, her coaching and leadership style continue to evolve as a Lakewood boys high school coach and JEFFCO Hurricanes coach (starting Nov 2018). She thrilled to join forces with the Piranhas!
