Hello

"I am extremely honored and excited to coach the Piranhas! My passion for swimming is something I hope to share with the team as I watch them develop their own love and dedication to the sport. Swimming is as fun as it is demanding, and I am here to support my swimmers as they set goals, progress in their skills, achieve great successes, and of course have fun throughout the process."

My Story

I am originally from the north suburbs of Chicago where my swimming career began. I swam ten years competitively within both clubs and at my high school at JV and Varsity levels, and also started playing water polo. My main events were the 100 Fly and the 500 Free.

I transitioned my focus to studying teaching during college and graduated with a B.S. in Adolescent to Young Adult Education. I moved to Colorado to begin my career as an English teacher, and after taking a break from competitive swimming, I was excited to return to the sport as a coach.

Over the years, I have taught swim lessons and coached pre-teams and high school teams at JV and Varsity levels. I have enjoyed working with swimmers of all ages and abilities and have watched them improve, succeed, and have fun in all different forms.
